Lucy Greenwell

Lucy is an award-winning radio producer who cut her teeth recording, producing and editing BBC radio features and documentaries. Throughout her radio career, she has focussed on unearthing human stories, conducting hundreds of interviews in the process. She founded Lives On Record inspired by how a recorded voice somehow captures the spirit of a person better than the written word ever can.

Jamie McDonald

After reading Economics and Philosophy at Oxford University, Jamie spent 12 years negotiating the world of finance as a fund manager in London and New York City. More recently, having undergone professional tutelage from Lucy herself, Jamie hosts his own radio show on NY Talk Radio and makes short travel films. Jamie lives in Manhattan and he's our much-loved American outpost.

Robbie is an audio producer who has worked on programmes for the BBC and the ABC, and he produces a number of podcasts. Robbie crafts Lives on Record interviews into elegant audio portraits for friends and family. “The best thing about this job is that every life story I hear is full of surprises, inspiration and wisdom.”


Arlie Adlington

Arlie is an audio producer and editor whose experience includes working on documentaries for BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4. He also produces and co-hosts the podcast The Boy Who Hasn't Lived. Arlie is passionate about the unique way audio can be used to tell stories, give light to new ideas and help people make sense of the world we live in.
